Good nutrition and management provide the basis of all successful and profitable livestock/dairy enterprises which can be achieved through sound practical advice based on a deep understanding of nutritional principles, backed by considerable experience of a wide range of practical production and economic systems.

Our approach is to gain a good understanding of individual client's circumstances, aspirations, skills and resources to enable us to devise and agree a practical feeding programme that makes as much use as possible of locally available feeds. This is much more likely to result in a self sustaining, achievable and profitable enterprise than just importing inappropriate systems from overseas.

Inadequate or unbalanced diets can lead to losses in animal productions, such as meat, milk or eggs, lower fertility , result in metabolic problems and increase disease due to reduced immune function.  All these impact negatively on profitability but are not always fully recognised as they are not easily measurable.
